About Larkhill Eventing
Larkhill Eventing is a not for profit organisation with a charter to provide access to eventing for both the civilian and the military riding communities. It is managed under the auspices of the Royal Artillery Equitation Committee and supports the development of equestrian sport within the military and the local communities. It shares its unique setting with the Larkhill Racecourse, to provide a major community sporting venue, hosting point to points and one day events.
Larkhill has been synonymous with artillery training since 1897 and is now very much at the heart of today’s Royal Regiment of Artillery. There has been organised equestrian sport at this location since 1947. Situated in a natural amphitheatre on the traditional chalk downlands of Salisbury Plain, it provides springy turf that rarely cancels due to poor weather.
Salisbury Plain is a military training and live firing range. Please:

Our Team
Our core team is set out below, but we couldn’t function without the help of a small army of volunteers that know all about Larkhill Eventing and work tirelessly to set up the events, fence judge, dressage steward, scorers, starters – the list goes on – and our thanks go to you.
